Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens successfully delivered a 0% municipal property tax levy increase for the 2026 city budget, framing it as vital financial relief for local families.
Utilizing provincial “strong mayor” legislation to mandate administrative cuts, Dilkens held the tax line without reducing essential municipal services. The approved financial plan also initiates Windsor’s largest-ever 10-year capital program, allocating record funding toward intensive local road rehabilitation and infrastructure repair projects across the municipality.
