Peel Police Arrested 6 in Connection with Carjacking

Police said that the investigators from Central Robbery Bureau have recovered eight vehicles, worth $800,000 before they were resold or shipped overseas following an investigation into violent, armed carjacking incidents. 6 people are arrested with 2 replica firearms. Police said the auto theft is dropped by 20% compared with the same time last year.

The Town of Caledon has officially adapted a $257 million budget, which includes a 3.27% property tax increase, comprised of a 2.27% operating increase and 1% infrastructure levy.
