Peel Resident Facing 168 Auto Crime Charges

Between June 2023 and early 2024, it is alleged that 24-year-old Milton Hylton made several fraudulent transactions through the Ministry of Transportation (M.T.O.) and Service Ontario across the province, with over 100 vehicles involved.

Investigators allege that Milton utilized loopholes in the Service Ontario procedures that allow “authorized” individuals to conduct third-party transactions related to motor vehicles when specific criteria are met. These transactions include: Registering a vehicle, permit replacement, colour change, obtaining a Used Vehicle Information Package (UVIP), permit transfer, licence plate replacement, fine payment.
