Friday, after meeting with Premiers, Prime Minister Mark Carney repeated that there would be no hike in capital gain tax because of the tariffs. He also addressed what the small businesses would be facing and assured that there would be enough liquidity and the businesses can defer GST to help financing. First time home buyers would not be paying GST either.
