Matt Mahoney Gets seat at Peel Police Board

Mississauga Council approves Ward 8 Councillor Matt Mahoney to replace Mayor Bonnie Crombie at the Peel Police Board. Mayor is offloading her responsibilities since she will be resigning soon as a Mayor of the city. The question is still in question that who would be the acting Mayor. An acting Mayor must be a person who has no intention to run for Mayor in an upcoming election or not gearing up for any provincial or federal nomination or election to give Mississauga council someone completely focused. However, there is no such rule that a hopeful can’t get an acting position.
